Spring trends to incorporate into your home

Spring just can’t come quick enough this year! We’re so excited to see the first daffodils blooming and the evenings getting lighter and lighter as the days go by. After such a difficult winter for us all here in the UK, we’re so pleased to welcome spring and, hopefully, the easing of coronavirus restrictions.

In light of this, we want to share some great ways to introduce spring 2021’s interior trends into your own homes.

Here at Rowe Carpets, we are always on-hand to discuss your next design project. We have a wonderful selection of flooring in stock from big-name brands such as Alternative Flooring, Jacaranda Carpets and Abingdon Flooring. If you’re looking to add that ‘something extra’ to your home, you can buy rugs online through our website.

1. ‘Grandmillenial’

What on earth is ‘Grandmillenial’? we hear you ask. Well, consider it a mash-up of your grandmother’s style and modern twists! What’s old is new again and ‘granny chic’ is definitely cropping up more and more this year.

Think vintage-style pieces, plenty of pattern and layers. It’s about creating a cosy space in your home, with nostalgic florals and quirky features.

2. Dried flowers

Very much a ‘cottagecore’ look, dried flowers are becoming a real staple in the home. Pampas grass is making a return, along with soft neutral tones and varying textures.

Dried flowers make a great addition to the room and, let’s face it, they don’t need very much maintenance! So, it’s a quick and easy way of bringing spring into the home.

3. Natural materials

Find ways of introducing natural materials into your home – from reclaimed wood to natural rugs and carpets. We have a shop on our website, where you can buy rugs online and even design your own! Choose from a selection of different materials, from sisal to seagrass, various colours and styles to suit your home.

If you’d like to find out more about the rugs we have in stock, visit our online shop or get in touch – we’ll be more than happy to help.
