Christmas 2020 Home Interiors Shopping Guide
As many of us have spent more time at home this year, this Christmas is the perfect time to pick up lovely homeware and interior gifts. From handmade lampshades to bespoke rugs, there are lots of lovely products made by local independents to treat your loved ones to, and we’ve picked out a few of our favourite shops to give you some festive inspiration!
So, in no particular order…
1. Hus & Hem in Ledbury
Hus & Hem sell beautiful items for the home, describing themselves as a ‘smorgasbord of Scandinavian design’. From reed diffusers to cushions, blankets to beanbags, their glorious collection has something for everyone. So, if you know someone who loves the Scandinavian design, this is the place to shop!
2. Cotswold Trading in Broadway
A firm favourite of ours, Cotswold Trading sell everything from candles to clocks, lighting to wall art. With lots of unique and stylish items, you’re sure to pick up delightful homeware gifts for your friends and family here! Based in the beautiful Cotswold village of Broadway, their products are also available to buy online.
3. Rowe Carpets in Kidderminster
Of course, we can’t not mention our wonderful rug-making service! A bespoke Alternative Flooring rug is the ultimate personalised gift for the interior design enthusiast in your life. With options such as choosing size and shape, as well as a multitude of different colour options and designs, you can create a rug that’s totally unique.
4. Home Kind in Redditch
Run by a mother and daughter team, Home Kind is an online business, selling stunning handmade lampshades in a range of different colours and fabrics. Perfect for bedrooms, living rooms and hallways, they’re great for adding that finishing touch to a room. Plus, you can have your lampshade custom made, so you can find the perfect fit for your loved one’s home.
5. Cornucopia in Worcester
Winner of Britain’s Best Small Shop of 2020, Cornucopia sells a stunning range of homeware and gifts. You can find everything from ‘gluggle’ jugs to ceramic vases, stone candle holders to faux flowers, as well as a whole range of jewellery, furniture and face masks. It’s quite a treat! There truly is something for everyone and, amongst the wonderland of gorgeous homeware, you’re sure to find that perfect Christmas gift.

Of course, sadly not all of us this year will be shopping in-store. However, there are still some lovely independent shops you can buy from online, such as Ibbi Interiors. Treat your loved one to a beautiful tea towel, colourful Binga Basket, or unique Bud Vase this Christmas!
